Some days were better than others. Getting people to stop in itself was a challenge. Setting up in different locations, made a big difference in business volume. Different locations along with the specific times in the day, would make or break your efforts to achieve your goals.
It was a great educational experience.
It didn’t take long to realize that cooler temperatures and the changing of the seasons would affect the outcome of obtaining the desired results. It really didn’t matter because summer vacation was over, and it was time to go back to school. The Dream of being a business success was still alive!
Fast forward the future. Making it through school seemed like a restriction to our abilities to use our skills and talents for business purposes. Most of us knew what we wanted to be. This small list: a policeman, a fireman, the mailman, a nurse, a doctor, an attorney, a dentist, a plumber, an electrician, the librarian, to jog your memory the list goes on.
Money seemed so far away. Out of reach for years.
Before you know it, various job opportunities, setting goals and real-world experience gave us the chance to pursue our desired career. Some by design, others by necessity. The journey to obtain our dreams can be a fulfilling experience or a lifetime of drudgery.
Yes … it’s true – our mindset is the determining factor.
Hopefully, in reading this, it will give you time to reflect on the past as well as the future. Times of laughter and times of despair are common and expected in our journey of life.
